Manage your active users for Typinator

Typinator 10 employs the ergonis License System to streamline license management. By accessing the License Portal, administrators gain comprehensive control over all user accounts linked to their licenses. This system facilitates efficient administration, enabling you to oversee license allocation and monitor usage, ensuring that your license management process is both organized and effective.

In this system, each user is uniquely identified by their email address. To use Typinator, users must be assigned to a specific license, which grants them access to the software. Any modifications made to user assignments or license allocations take effect immediately.

Assign a User & Set Max Activations

  1. Open the License Portal
  2. Go to Licenses
  3. Select your Typinator license
  4. Open the License Users tab
  5. Click Assign License User
  6. Enter the user’s email

The user will be created automatically if needed and assigned to the license. An email containing the login credentials will be sent automatically to the provided email address.

You have the option to customize the number of activations permitted for each individual user. To do this, locate the 3-Dots Menu situated to the right of the user’s entry. Once you open this menu, select the option labeled "Set Max Activations."

This will allow you to specify the maximum number of devices on which the user can activate the software. When choosing this number, please ensure it aligns with your current subscription plan as well as the number of devices that the user actually requires. This way, you can effectively manage your licenses and avoid exceeding the limits set by your plan.
