Your product license plan defines how many devices can be connected at the same time. If you switch to a new computer, you may need to remove an existing device before activating the new one.
How to deactivate an unneeded device
If you need to free up a device slot, follow these steps to deactivate an unneeded device:
- Log in to the license portal using the login credentials you received when purchasing Typinator.
- In the left menu, select Licenses and choose the license you want to manage.
- Open the Devices tab.
- Find the device you want to remove.
- Click Reset to remove the device from your account.
After the device has been deactivated, you can connect a new device if needed.
